METALS ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Description:
The Account Manager provides sales and relationship management for the Die Casting, Performance Racing and Precision Machining industries and customers supported by the Metals business unit. Responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies and plans to grow overall sales and market share in these focus industries.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Salary:
Grade 10 - $20.90/hr.

Job Description:
Layout, assemble, install and test electrical and electronic fixtures, apparatus, control equipment and wiring. Diagnose cause of breakdown and inefficient machine operations. Repair, rebuild, and modify all types of electrical equipment, utilize manuals, prints, sketches, verbal instructions, various tools, etc. Connect properly, and use meters such as volt-ohm, amp meters, power factor meters, etc. Perform all varieties of preventative maintenance such as cleaning and oiling motors, bearings replacement, electrical controls, etc. Test and repair electronic control systems. Assist in ordering materials and parts. Assist in training subordinate employees to improve their skill and ability for advancement.

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Requires formal apprenticeship (4 years min.) or 8 years on the job training as an Industrial Electrician.

PRODUCTION MACHINIST (2)

Salary:
Grade 6 - $13.90-$15.01/hr.

Job Description:
Set up and operate lathes, mills, drills and operate special equipment. Make improved tools or temporary fixtures, utilize precision measuring equipment to check parts dimensions and tolerance to print or process. Sharpen tools such as turning tools, drills and simple hand tools.

Skills Required: (not exhaustive)
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Operator must be able to set up and operate up to 16” lathes, hand and power vertical and horizontal mills and some special equipment.
  • Must be able to work mathematical problems.
  • Must be able to use precision measuring equipment.
  • Must be able to grind own simple lathe and mill tools.
  • Must be able to pass the Inspector qualification Test, Grade 4.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

CENTERLESS GRINDER/EXTRUDER

Salary:
Grade 4 - $13.04/hr.

Job Description:
Set up and operate Cincinnati Centerless Grinders, Royal Master Centerless Grinders. Select proper grinding wheels for material and finished tolerances. Set proper angle, speeds and feeds according to material, finish and tolerances. Set up and operate hydraulic and mechanical presses to extrude various sizes of welding tips and other experimental work on metals and tools. Select tooling print and materials, make first piece inspection to specifications and make necessary adjustments to machine. Run production orders.

Skills Required: (not exhaustive)
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to set up and operate Centerless grinders.
  • Must be able to read and work from print and process.
  • Must be able to dress grinding wheels.
  • Must be able to set up and operate mechanical and hydraulic presses to various prints and specifications.
  • Must be able to use various types of precision measuring equipment.
  • Assist in training less advanced operators as required.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Must have six months centerless grinder, punch press or related experience.
  • Should have good mechanical background.
  • Must be able to work mathematical problems

BUILDING AND GROUNDS

Salary:
Grade 2 – 11.50/hr.

Job Description:
Landscaping, snow removal, moving office equipment. General housekeeping of factory and offices. Make occasional pick up and deliveries using company vehicle.

Skills Required: (not exhaustive)
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Able to climb ladder and replace light bulbs.
  • Proficient use of mowers, doors, etc., floor refinishing materials, and furniture moving equipment.
  • Operate pan washer system.
  • Constant walking, standing, bending, stooping, etc.
  • Work from written and verbal instructions.
  • Have normal hearing and eyesight.
  • Must have a valid Indiana Driver's License (Insurable Driver).
  • Must be able to operate a lift truck.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Packer/Shipper

Salary:
Grade 2 – 11.50/hr.

Job Description:
The operator makes count verification of all incoming parts (usually by hand packing), pulls materials from shelf for orders to the production floor and to the customer and packs these orders in such a manner as is deemed necessary for shipment.

Skills Required: (not exhaustive)
  • Minimum 3 months exposure to shipping/receiving/ store room environment is helpful.
  • Verify count and part number on all incoming materials, by whatever means is indicated, i.e., weight, weigh scales, hand count, etc.
  • Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Maintain accurate and orderly inventory in the store room.
  • Be able to pack materials in such a manner as to prevent damage through normal shipping modes.
  • Report all transactions by whatever means available; paper, electronic transfer, etc.
  • Physical ability to accomplish movement of materials.
  • Take and assist in taking inventory.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Parts Former C (2)

Salary:
Grade 4 - $13.04/hr.

Job Description:
Set up, operate and maintain parts forming equipment. Requires minor tool maintenance, i.e., cleaning, polishing and sharpening. SPC charting. From part prints and written or verbal instructions, set up and operate any complement of forming machines, as required.

Skills Required: (not exhaustive)
  • Must have a minimum of 12 months experience operating surface grinder, lathe and drill press.
  • Set up and operate a complement of forming machines in the department as assigned.
  • Maintain tooling during production run by polishing and grinding as required., using grinder, lathe, drill press, etc.
  • Use micrometers, gages, indicators, charts, etc. to continually check part conformance to print specifications.
  • Responsible for machine adjustments as required, must thoroughly understand machine functions and operating manuals.
  • Responsible for working with the supervisor to maintain an inventory of spare parts and looking, as required.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
