CMW Inc. welcomes Lane Donoho as Chief Engineer/Metallurgist. As Chief Engineer, Mr. Donoho’s responsibilities will include leading new product and material development, writing investigative reports, making technical recommendations to clients worldwide, developing new manufacturing techniques and providing technical assistance to all parts of the company and key customer relationships.

Mr. Donoho brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to CMW in the areas of laboratory testing and manufacturing support with expertise in heat treatment, metallurgical and quality lab management, product line quality control, process-oriented root cause analysis, metallurgical failure analysis (as both a working metallurgist and a consultant) and cost reduction.

Mr. Donoho earned his Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering in 1995 from the University of Illinois and his Master of Engineering in Management of Technology in 2003 from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is in the process of completing his Doctorate of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Materials Science, also from Vanderbilt University.
