CMW Leader Named to RWMA Executive Committee

Mark B. GramelspacherThe Resistance Welding Manufacturing Alliance (RWMA), a standing committee of the American Welding Society based in Miami, Florida, named Mark Gramelspacher to the Executive Committee. In his role as 2nd Vice Chair of RWMA, Mr. Gramelspacher will help oversee the RWMA and advise the AWS Board of Directors to serve the community of resistance welding equipment distributors, educators, manufacturers and users. RWMA encourages the highest standards of ethics in the resistance welding industry and sponsors programs and conferences that foster the adoption of best practices leading to increased safety, efficiency and reliability of resistance welding processes. His tenure began January 1, 2009.

Mr. Gramelspacher brings with him ten years experience and knowledge of the industry as the President & CEO of CMW Inc. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and law degree from Indiana University School of Law Bloomington.

Lane Donoho named Chief Engineer/Metallurgist

Lane DonohoCMW Inc. welcomes Lane Donoho as Chief Engineer/Metallurgist. As Chief Engineer, Mr. Donoho’s responsibilities will include leading new product and material development, writing investigative reports, making technical recommendations to clients worldwide, developing new manufacturing techniques and providing technical assistance to all parts of the company and key customer relationships.

Mr. Donoho brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to CMW in the areas of laboratory testing and manufacturing support with expertise in heat treatment, metallurgical and quality lab management, product line quality control, process-oriented root cause analysis, metallurgical failure analysis (as both a working metallurgist and a consultant) and cost reduction.

Mr. Donoho earned his Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering in 1995 from the University of Illinois and his Master of Engineering in Management of Technology in 2003 from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is in the process of completing his Doctorate of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Materials Science, also from Vanderbilt University.

CMW names Eric Krepps as COO

Eric Krepps

CMW Inc. welcomes Eric L. Krepps as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Mr. Krepps’ responsibilities include generating profit growth through operational management, financial management, and the development of targeted business. He will also analyze organizational functions, and continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve customer satisfaction and growth of the business. Mr. Krepps will develop high performance teams capable of implementing business development strategies across all three primary business units.

Mr. Krepps brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to CMW in the areas of manufacturing systems, process improvement, quality and financial management. He spent the bulk of his career building, developing and managing operations in Asia, Mexico and other parts of the world while holding leadership positions with Eaton/Aeroquip, Sanmina-SCI, and Faurecia Systems. Mr. Krepps earned a Masters of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio in 1998, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio in 1985. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. CMW is very excited about the contributions to be made by its expanded leadership team.
