CMW Announces AS9100 Certification REVISION B CMW International, the Indianapolis – based manufacturer of specialty metals, received dual registration for the International Standards AS9100B:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 for the Manufacture and Machining of High Density Metals. To successfully achieve certification, CMW demonstrated its ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements while maintaining a consistent level of quality through-out its operations. The AS9100 standard includes the fundamental ISO9001 elements but also includes nearly 100 additional requirements specifically designed to address the stringent, complex and unique demands of the Defense and Commercial Aerospace Industry. Successful applicants must demonstrate and effective quality management system to consistently satisfy these unforgiving requirements. AS9100 certification is often a prerequisite to supplying the military/aerospace sector. The AS9100 certification is a further step in CMW's business strategy in developing its high density metals business.
